The Voelkers

The Voelkers are serving in Portugal under the ABWE (Association of Baptists for World Evangelism) Mission Board.  They arrived in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, in 2002 and Noelridge Park Church has helped support them from the beginning of their ministry.

They are directing the Greater Lisbon Christian Academy, which is principally a school for missionary children (MKs).  They also inaugurated the Leadership Training Center to train leaders for the evangelical churches of Portugal.

Portugal is a needy country where only 1% of the population considers itself to be born again.

The Voelkers have two daughters, Charity and Angela.
