Sports Ministries

Playing sports are a great way to get to know people! Here at Noelridge our sports ministry aims, above all else, to glorify God in all that we do [1 Corinthians 10:31].  The atmosphere is fun and very competitive!  Sports at Noelridge include:

Softball

We play in a fun and competitive church league [open 'C' division] here in Cedar Rapids. (Click here to visit the league web page.) Our games are on Monday nights [6pm/7pm game times] at Noelridge Park, just a few blocks down from the church.  Any questions about playing softball be sure to contact Pastor Nate @ 393.8841.  Please be in continued prayer for us.  It is our desire to be effective witnesses to others for Jesus Christ through the sport of softball!  Be sure to follow the results of every game right here! Basketball

We play in a fun and very competitive church league at Calvary Baptist Church on the southwest side of Cedar Rapids on Johnson Ave.  As we perpare for another season this year we do have some roster spots open.  If you have any interest in playing or have any questions please call Pastor Nate @ 393.8841.  We would greatly appreciate your prayers as we look to be effective ministers for Jesus Christ! The season starts in December and goes to the middle of April [includes the playoffs].  Be sure to look for the results of each game right here!

Golf

Once a year we schedule a day for those of you who love to play to come out and enjoy a day of golf, fellowship, food, & fun.  It doesn’t matter if your good, bad, or somewhere in the middle we just want to plan a day of stress-free [I say this term extremely lightly ] fun with one another [make sure to invite your friends]!  Any questions about this event please contact Pastor Nate!
