Young Adults Update

Hello Everyone,

If this is your first time visiting us, we would like to welcome you to our group.  We don’t care if you are seeking Christ, or have already developed a relationship with Him, we are all about learning more about Him and His love for us.  If you would like to come hang out with us sometime, please feel free to contact CJ Cunniff (319.892.3405) and he can get you some additional information about our super awesome, unbelievably amazing, ridiculously fun group!

Here is a quick update for you all from our last meeting.

The results of the poll are listed below.  The top areas of interest were “The Mission of Hope”, “Babysitting”, Neighborhood car wash and volunteering at “Aid to Women”.  CJ will be contacting “the Mission of Hope” and Aid to Women to see what their needs are, and then coordinating a time for us to begin in those ministries as we are able.

CJ also got positive feedback related to “The Truth Project” as our first study.  CJ will be ordering those materials and touching base with everyone to discuss what we can do to get the word out.

Finally, we promised that a suggested date for our next meeting would be sent out.  I’m going to be out this weekend, so I would like to suggest Sunday, July 25th from around 6:30 until we all get tired.  If that day or time doesn’t work for you please let me know.  If enough people can’t make it we will reschedule.  Also, as “The Truth Project” is video based, if you miss a study, I will be happy to loan the DVD out to anyone who would like it.
